The Philippine Heritage Council of Manitoba proudly welcomes everyone to celebrate Filipino Heritage Month this June 2026 through a series of meaningful community events that honor our roots, culture, and identity.
This year’s theme, “Ang Diwa ng Pilipino” or “The Filipino Spirit,” may sound simple, yet it carries a deep and powerful meaning. It reflects the heart of what it truly means to be Filipino — our values, traditions, resilience, hospitality, respect for family, love for community, and pride in our heritage.
As Filipinos living in different parts of the world, we continue to carry our culture wherever we go. We want the next generations to know and experience the beauty of our identity, ensuring that our heritage remains alive for years to come.
In today’s busy and fast-paced world, Heritage Month serves as an important reminder for all of us to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the essence of who we are. It is a time to breathe in the spirit of our culture, appreciate our journey, and celebrate the rich traditions that unite us as a community.
Throughout June 2026, PHCM will host various cultural, educational, and community-centered events that aim to bring people together through learning, sharing stories, and celebrating Filipino excellence and heritage. These are community events open to everyone — Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike. We warmly invite families, friends, youth, elders, and community supporters to come and celebrate with us.
Together, let us continue to keep the Filipino spirit alive in our hearts and in our community.
Please stay tuned for more exciting updates and event announcements as we move closer to June 2026.
Maraming Salamat Po, and we look forward to celebrating with you all!
