The official poster for this year’s Filipino Heritage Month events organized by PHCM and affiliated organizations has been released.
Designed by Winnipeg-based Aneubat Graphics, the poster makes use of the Philippine tricolor and features cultural symbols like the jeepney, the Bayanihan spirit of helping relocate a nipa hut (a traditional rural dwelling), and popular tourist activities such as swimming with whale sharks in Donsol.
This year’s theme is ‘Kalayaan…Ating Ingatan at Alagaan,’ which translates to ‘Let us preserve and nurture our freedom.’ The events listed in the poster are expected to come out with their own respective promotional artwork during the month.
